Pete, I whole heartedly agree. I sat & watched all the fires burning on Sky T.V.& my heart went out to all the people affected by these fires. I also praise the firefighters who put their lives at risk by fighting the fires. I hear that some of these brave firefighters lost their own houses in the fires. They are heroes. Well said Pete, I have watched and listened to the TV tonight and am in shock. I know the fires are essential for Aussie bush to survive and revive but the loss of lives is terrible. My sympathies go out to all who have been affected by this tragedy and I sincerely pray we do not have any more fatalities. The whole nation is pulling together at the moment which is encouraging to see.
