Dear Ms Pyke You obviously do not have family members buried in the cemeteries you are thinking of destroying. Not only am I a family researcher horrified at the thought of losing some of our most treasured history, but I am aslo a family member who has lost loved ones who are buried in cemeteries throughout Victoria. And as such I am deeply offended by your statements. If this is the attitude of the Victorian Government, then as an ex-pat Victorian living in Queensland, I will certainly alter my wishes to be returned to Victoria for burial when I pass away.
