It is because people keep hitting the reply button to answer emails. Each time someone hits reply we get another Re: [[AUS-CEM]], and ofcourse the email gets longer a longer and longer. Not much fun for those in digest mode. It may or may not have something to do with the fact that when you hit 'reply all', it puts in two lots of "AUSTRALIA-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com AUSTRALIA-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com" (and I only copied one, I had to take one out, or it would have sent two.)
