The AVR's searched an Australian Time Line of 1788-1905 in all states however this does not mean that there are no records, with a surname of that origin there may well be immigration records etc' which may return more information. Also it would assist anyone helping your quest Vince if you could give them an indication of some dates or time lines and in particular a geographic idea of where your family settled, lived and/or married, and even a point of entry into Australia and their actual country of origin.
