I have a situation I have got to my GG father, who was born a Fox, his father died and his mother remarried a Holmes whilst my GG father was young, therefore my GG father 'adopted' the name Holmes and married etc under this name, however when doing family research - should you also research his 'real' name being FOX to make it an accurate family tree? What do you do in this circumstance?
