Good evening David, I'm surprised no one from Singleton FHS has replied. They published 6 vols of district cemetery transcriptions. As Cliff says, William bur Whittingham, the name for one of main cemeteries for Singleton. In their "Singleton Pioneer Register" 1989 they list his spouse as Mary Eliza Biden (nee Bateman) CofE d. 31.3.1880 bur. Waverley. William reported to been surveyor with AA Coy. Thank You John; Thank you for the information. Nice to know there is a Singleton FHS. Also curious about the history of the cemetery and what is still there today. From the burial date for William I was wondering if the church cemetery might have either been the main cemetery, or the only one, at the time. Curious when it started and when the last burial was.
