Hi List and others, In the last week, we may have been off line, but work has not stopped. Australian Cemeteries returned Last Night, with the following updates. Such was the response, that there is little doubt, we are here to stay. Australian Cemeteries Website is in the most public of the public domains in this the 21st Century. In the past some of our volunteers, have had offers to line their own pockets with dollars by outsiders, who wish to then, on sell this information to profit themselves. Most of our volunteers are simply offended by such offers. This is Public Data, and should remain as such. We also understand that those , who make the effort to go out and complete this data, should have some reward, for the completed project. And some of our Volunteers, do just that. We have no problem with this, especially if they are Local or Family History Group, who put the income back into support of more of the same. But it became apparent that outsiders, may be milking, our system of photos, for their own reward. We value our volunteers efforts, and they should not have to put up with harassment from outside. If the harassment continues, the site will be removed. Hi Peter People forget that some things in this life need to stay "free to air" Just a question, has Urunga, Bellingen & Dorrigo [there are other smaller sites in the shire] NSW been added to the list?
