    1. Re: [AUSTRALIA-CEMETERIES] WHERE is a person buried?

    3. I am currently digitizing cemetery Records for my area and have found the same thing, often they are buried with a spouse or a child/baby. It is a good idea to search for the history of where they have been if possible. There may even be a stillborn child that may not have been registered but the grave is there. Carmel Hi all. DON'T assume that a person who is registered in town / suburb is buried nearby. I my research of deaths and burials in my local country area I was surprised at how many people had died in Sydney and were buried in my local cemetery, or had died in one of my local towns and were trained (by train on railway) to Sydney, Melbourne or some other destination. Check local cemeteries for sure, but you may never know just where a person has been buried. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
