Norma, If the records are from 1861 could you check any entries for James and Mary Ann Hook's children. I think they are Irene Richard Francome (nee Hook), Vincent Hook, Theodore Ernest Hook & Royce Hook. My grandmother, Olive Wager Hook died in Kempsey, NSW where I live. She is the only person I have details of BDM 's for.
