Hi Leanne Have you got the death certificate? This will usually give place of burial. Also you could perhaps try the funeral notices in the newspaper. The Ryerson Index shows a death notice in the Sydney Morning Herald on 25 July 1972 so if you were to look around this date it may also have a funeral notice.
