Thanks again Garry - I've used electoral rolls before but mostly for 19th century folk. I was delighted to hear they're alphabetical for recent years - with no idea AT ALL of where Riccardo might have lived in Queenland the electoral rolls looked like a fairly daunting task, but I'm going to the SLV tomorrow and see what I can find. How exciting - if I can find a location I can make more localised enquiries! Call me an optimist, I might find the fellow who was the original starting point of this search - Rico's brother Claudio CRISMANICH. He was last heard of about 16 years ago when he's believed to have gone to the Philippines... Can't wait to get to the SLV! Many thanks to everyone who responded to my CRISMANICH enquiry - I now have lots more leads to follow and hope we can find something positive. Thanks lots, Loretta
