Hi Loretta, just for general information, the Victorian State library holds the electoral rolls for most states on microfiche dating back to 1903. Up until around 1991 they were listed by polling place and after that they are in alphabetical order. Years ago I remember going to the post office in a country town and looking up the local electoral roll for someone I was researching. New electoral rolls are usually issued after every Federal election so they are reasonably up to date. Good luck in your searching.
