Hi I've got a Henry Edward Franklin died 1924 (this is definate, I have his inquest result), buried at Fawkner. His grandson remembers being taken there in the 1970's and the grave was fallen into disrepair, but he was also told there was another person in the grave. I couldn't find his location on the web site, so I rang Fawkner, and they have NO RECORD of him being buried there. Any suggestions? I know I have the correct death year, and cemetery. His wife is there, but buried elsewhere. I have no idea how to track him down. Only thing I can think of is the death certificate. Any help with this mystery man would be very very appreciated. Hi Jo Just had a look at the records for you, did you notice that there is a Edward Franklin buried at Fawkner aged 48 being buried on 29.09.1924. No second name given so maybe he was Edward Henry and not the other way round.....Just a thought Regards, Nola ________________________________ From: Jo <[email protected]> To: "Aus Cemeteries ([email protected]" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, 2 February, 2009 4:39:03 AM Subject: [AUSTRALIA-CEMETERIES] Lost in Fawkner Hi I've got a Henry Edward Franklin died 1924 (this is definate, I have his inquest result), buried at Fawkner.
