Hi Ray, I spent many researching and writing about Elizabeth Scott and her two convicted cohorts who were hanged at Old Melbourne Gaol on 11 November 1863 and they were buried at Melbourne General Cemetery rather than in the grounds of the Gaol. I don't know why this was the case but it was.
