Good Morning Ian; Thank you for your reply. Interesting that there is nothing known locally about this site. What I have is as follows: The reference was obtained from the DSE Land Information Management Systems database (Portal) which has data on all public land Crown allotments. The record was for Crown allotment 30B of no section, Hawkesdale Township, Kangertong Parish. However, this allotment is no longer in the Portal database, having been sold, I presume. I am guessing that the information on the graves could be obtained from old parish plans, and that there is some sort of notation on these. But will try to follow up at the State Library Maps Collection or at the GSV as we hold old Parish Maps. Presumably the graves would be related to a former pastoral property. Perhaps information on this could be obtained locally. Also there are a couple of files in the PRO relating to the Crown allotment 30 no section, Hawkesdale Township. These files may shine more light on the subject. So next time at North Melbourne at the PROV I will order and read the files. I will see what I can ascertain and keep you informed. Are there any checks you could do at your end? Cheers, David
