I don't have much to go on trying to find this guy. John GOLDSWORTHY, age 21 on 14th July 1866 when the ship Netherby was shipwrecked on King Island. Everyone survived and went to Victoria. All the passengers on the ship were bound for Brisbane under the land-order system, but despite QLD immigration records stating they went there, not all actually did. All I have found out so far is that he was born about 1845 somewhere in England. He boarded the ship "Netherby" in Plymouth and was a labourer. There is a John Perry GOLDSWORTHY who obtained land in Toowoomba (he's definitely one of my lot) but it's not the same guy as the one on the Netherby. Any suggestions on how to find this elusive one would be appreciated.
