Thanks Vicki, That's very kind of you sometimes with old hard writing you think you might understand a name but when it's checked against BDM CD's the answer is made very clear, but mind you some of the spellings are way out but I've ask for that not to be changed otherwise this is changing historic records and we do not want to be doing that in any way shape or form. Hi Barbara, Did you know Douglas Rex Thornber, died 29/7/1994 was buried 2/8/1994 at Fawkner cemetery and crematorium? He was 77 and his cremated remains have been collected. The funeral was held by Burke & Wills funerals and he's the only Thornber there so far. Jenny Boyer Harkaway, Victoria

HI Ray, I'm willing to help if I can. I have an IBM Computer system. I don't have Microsoft Works, as I run Microsoft office 2000. If your program won't run on Office 2000, I can install works if you can send me the program. I consider myself reasonably computer literate, and a reasonable typist. I believe it is important for as many records as possible to be available on line. I also am enough of a realist to understand that this goal needs volunteers to make it possible. I'll send you the program that I've made to do the work and the layout is set out all you have to do is to copy the information onto the program in other words fill in the blocks as required, it is not hard but time consuming. I also need to have you snail mail address to send you the disks and the photo copies of the registers and would ask if they be returned please by my replied paid post address so it will not cost you anything!
