    2. Re robbers and family history. I had my grandfather's compass.. Old and daggy, and worth probably $5.00 if that. Along with cameras and film in them, irreplacable, the compass went. Police found said camera, we wanted it back, who woundn't? but they said they needed it for evidence. I kept ringing about it, no, not in court yet, let you know, etc. Well, they never did, and the camera and my precious film got sold at a police auction. Moral of the story, keep asking and insist your property be returned and that for the court case, you will bring it back. Did WE get the money for the camera and film, our property, sold by the police? Well THAT is the funny part!@#$.robyn. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eliz Cook" <Elizcook@ains.net.au> To: <AUSTRALIA-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2003 12:21 AM Subject: [[AUS-CEM]] Re: [[AUS-CEM]] Re: [[AUS-CEM]] Re: [[AUS-CEM]] Re: [[AUS-CEM]] Re- Frankston Cemetery > The Cops told us to go to cash converters and we might be able to buy it > back....... > My sister had her laptop stolen with the list for her wedding invitations in > the pocket.
