Yes, Auburn is a suburb of Sydney. Try Rookwood Cemetery as that is the closest to Auburn. Hello list I am wondering if SKS can tell me if there is an online web site for Brighton Cemetery. I am looking for John Corrigan died 4/1/1916 aged 80yrs and his wife Ruth (nee Whaley) Corrigan died 24/4/1906 aged 58 yrs thanks jenny
Hi Monica Liverpool and Sutton Forest are not exactly next door suburbs, it is a good 1- 1.5 hours drive between them. I would have thought Goulburn was closer for someone to die at and be buried at Sutton Forest. But then maybe the treatment he needed was only available at Liverpool. Is the place of residence Chullora? That is a suburb of Sydney that is not really that far from Liverpool, so that would make sense. If this is your James, maybe he re-married after the death of his wife in 1942 and it was this second marriage that happened when he was 69. And there were no children of this second marriage. Who is the informant on the DC? Maybe they didn't know anything about the first wife or children Charmaine > Listers, > I have just received a death certificate for a James McFARLANE.
