Hi Sheelagh, My information says that Rebecca died at Haslam, near Streaky Bay and that she was buried at Streaky Bay. I don't know the S.A. geography, but it seems her husband William was buried at North Rd. Cemetery, and the children were born at Nailsworth, North Adelaide and Prospect while Rebecca was born at Inglewood. I don't know how she ended up near Streaky Bay, perhaps she went to live with one of her children who may have lived there. Judy I have a book for one of the areas close to Streaky Bay and it has a bit in it about a Mrs Lewis who was a teacher at Meleigie School . Hi Listers, I am looking for Information on above Cemetery, near Geelong, for our Endangered Graves page. "Two acres of Crown Portion 38, County of Grant, Parish of Yowang was reserved in 1862. A further 2 acres was reserved in 1863 in lieu of the 1862 site and burials took place until about 1895. Eighteen burials are reported to have taken place although no details are available." The cemetery was opposite the Sutherlands Creek Presbyterian Church (as it was then). As of 1983 the site was still reserved under the Control of the Corio Shire. Need volunteer close to this location, with a digital camera. We have map of location for Cemetery. Hello every one, I am new to this list and have just acquired a transcription of a death record from NSW. The information I have is that it was a Roman Catholic Burial in the Parish of St. James county of Cumberland NSW 1852. Person who died was Margaret Bermingham age 41 who was buried 6/01/1852 who resided at Castlereagh St. in Sydney. Minister was Rev. D. M. O' Connell. My question is how do I go about finding where Margaret is buried and other information about her. I believe her to be my 4th great grandmother, but have been unable to verify this because I haven't been able to acertain who her husband was. Her funeral notice only said that she left a husband and 6 children, so no info there. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Sharon
