Good Morning Inez; Corryong Cemetery Trust now has it burial index on line. You need to access the Corryong Cemetery Trust via the Shire of Towong webpage and then click on the burial index. It is an Microsoft XL file. There are quite a few Klippels in the Corryong Cemetery and Lorna Beatrice Klippel was buried 18/3/1994, aged 82 years, in the Lawn Area, Grave: X7. Cheers, David At 11:33 AM 24/07/2005, you wrote: >Hi All, >I am new to this list and am helping some one maybe able to help a friend of >mine who doesn't have a computer. >He is looking for an Ancestor who he believed is buried in Corryong Cemetery > >Her name is Lorna Beatrice Klippel died he thinks in the late 1980 or 1990's >I have the deaths till 1985 and it is not there so gather it is after 1985. >Hoping some one maybe able to help me >Regards >Inez ------------------------------------------- David Weatherill Bundoora Victoria Australia
Hi All, Hoping some one maybe able to help me I have an ancestor who according to her death cert: Julia O'Grady was buried at Sandhurst in 1885 my question, is Sandhurst the same as Bendigo as I have been on the Bendigo Cemetery site and along with another friend we have been unable to get any hits with the surname Monar and Julia O'Grady, is it possible that there is another cemetery. Regards Inez

Wow, thanks very much for this, will follow this up. cheers Leanne >>> Jan and Bob Grant <[email protected]> 21/07/2008 6:48 pm >>> Hi Leanne Have you got the death certificate? This will usually give place of burial. Also you could perhaps try the funeral notices in the newspaper. The Ryerson Index shows a death notice in the Sydney Morning Herald on 25 July 1972 so if you were to look around this date it may also have a funeral notice. Hi All, I have just joined the list, so apologies for any inappropriate wording... Granddad - Henry Wilson DAVIS born 7/7/1890 in Sydney and am looking for where he was buried, he died in Ryde 22/7/1972 registration number: 61070/1972. Family story is that his funeral was at a Sydney Synagogue but his family had broken with the Jewish community some years ago, so not sure if this is true. I have done online searches for Rookwood Cemetry with no luck, are there any other online listings of Jewish burial locations in Sydney area that I could search? Any other search methods that I could use to find the old boy? Any assistance would be great. thanks leanne
