    1. Re: [AUSTRALIA-CEMETERIES] Heidelberg Cemetery Burial - help?
    2. D. Weatherill
    3. Hi Adam; Your email arrived as I was working again on the research into the Heidelberg/Warringal Cemetery. Slowly tracking down early burials before the Burial Register started in 1856, plus some others where the headstone has disappeared over time or have an interesting inscription. Now your Mabel STOM request: * Of interest is the grave book has her as STONE, but the Burial Register has her as STOM. Need to change the grave book spelling. Will contact the Cemetery Officer re this. * She is buried in Presbyterian Section, Grave: KK-24. * As your death certificate probably notes she was buried 10 June, 1930; age: 43 years. * The grave was originally owned by Henrietta BOYD, but after Henrietta's death, the ownership changed to William STOM. * Henrietta Boyd had her ashes interred in the grave on 6 March, 1962. * No one else noted as being in grave as of now. * There is no headstone on the grave, nor does there appear to have been one. I hope this helps, Cheers, David At 09:19 AM 27/01/2009, you wrote: >Hi - I am trying to find more information on the burial of MABEL STOM >in Heidelberg Cemetery. She died on June 9th 1930. 2. Adam English
    3. Hi - I am trying to find more information on the burial of MABEL STOM in Heidelberg Cemetery. She died on June 9th 1930. I have a scanned copy from the Register of Deaths (via VIC BDM) with some details but what I would like is any further information that perhaps is on any headstone or even in any record kept by the cemetery itself. Can anyone help? I believe that Heidelberg Cemetery is now known as Warringal? I live in England and would appreciate any information or guidance. Thank you.
