    3. Hello. I am the List Administrator for this list. Sincerely, > The RootsWeb team > > I am the List Administrator for a number of Rootsweb genealogy mailing lists. Like a number of other Rootsweb genealogy mailing lists List Administrators, I have started migrating some of my Rootsweb mailing lists, to, which apparently offers a superior mailing lists facility. I am at this stage, intending to relinquish this list, for which I am the List Administrator, as at the closure of all of the Rootsweb lists. This list has been relatively inactive, for the last year or so. I therefore need a list member to step up, and to migrate this list, for example, to the platform, and, become the equivalent of a Rootsweb List Administrator. The job should be easier than being a Rootsweb List Administrator, due to the nature of the platform (if my replacement chooses to use that, like most of the Rootsweb List Administrators who are migrating our lists). This is relatively easy, for someone who has some experience as a List Administrator, and so, I am asking for someone to take this on. I am aware that at least one of the subscribers to this list, is a List Administrator of other lists, and, has migrated some of that person's lists, to I can explain what needs to be done, to implement this, if someone is interested. If someone who has experience as a Rootsweb List Administrator, contacts me and advises that the person wants to take this on, the simplest way would be for me to arrange with that person to become the Rootsweb List Administrator for this list, to make the migration simpler. To do this, send me an email message stating the details, to the email address Migrating this Australia list to, has the potential for implementing subgroups, for migration of other Australia-related lists, including regional, state, and suburb/city lists. I am aware that this can be done, and, has been done for other migrations of Rootsweb lists, but I do not know how to do it. It is an aspect that has great potential, if someone has the inclination, and the time and energy, to implement it. Remember, all Rootsweb genealogy mailing lists are scheduled to cease operation, as of 02 March 2020. -- Bret Busby List Administrator Armadale West Australia ..............
