Good morning all, I am writing to let everyone know of the changes which have just taken place within the Pacific and AustraliaGenWeb projects. PACIFIC GENWEB PROJECT The Regional Coordinator of the PacificGenWeb has changed as of today 12/11/00. Due to increased and demanding work commitments, I have had to stand down from the postion. I would like to thank everyone who has helped or who has contributed to the project during the past 2 years in which I have held the position. The new Regional Coordinator of PacificGenWeb is Leith Hutton of New Zealand. I would like to thank him too, for his assistance in the past and wish him well in the future, and would ask that you all continue to support the efforts of those involved in this very worthwhile project. URL: - http://www.rootsweb.com/~pacifgw/ AUSTRALIA GENWEB PROJECT From today - 12/11/00, the National Coordination of the main AustraliaGenWeb project will be managed by myself with the assistance (long distance) of Nathan Zipfel. Some of you may know of Nate - he is the Chairman of the WorldGenWeb project world-wide, and is Coordinator of the British Isles GenWeb project, along with a number of US state projects which are part of USGenWeb. Whilst I will continue to maintain the website while I am home, Nate will be an additional contact point for the site via email, and will be able to add page links etc to the site. He will also help me to maintain the various state and territory sites which as yet do not have coordinators of their own.
