Was your Patrick Kennedy from Kilkenny in my family tree there is mention of John and Bridget Kennedy (Norris) from Windgap Black Bog Kilkenny and this Patrick Poss. born early 1800's was their son. John was from Tipperary Lissadobber and moved to Kilkenny early 1800's when he lost his farm. Names of other siblings of Patrick were Oliver,Catherine,James Eileen Thomas Bridget Joseph Michael William. could have been more- all born early 1800's to 1830. The Power name comes up2 generations later in Kilkenny where Catherine Kennedy married James Power date unknown.
