Hello to all, I thought if I purchased a certificate, the dates would be correct but it turns out this is not the case. My aunt says she was born 17/11/1919, microfiche records say she was born 20/11/1918, and when I purchased her birth certificate, it read 30/11/1918. I phoned the Registry of BDM's in Brisbane and subsequently returned the certificate. They checked the original certificates and now I have the birth cert which shows 20/11/1918. Does this sort of thing happen often? Jeanie.
