As most of you know, the Sydney DPS is indexing the SMH death notices from 1986. Starting in January, we will be adding a new section to the web site, to cover miscellaneous issues of the SMH prior to 1986. This is to cater for those people who have contacted me indicating they have some issues which they would like to index. However, the last thing we want to do is spend time indexing issues which are already covered by published indexes. I know that scattered years have been indexed, but don't know the complete list. So, this is where I am asking for help. If anyone knows of any published indexes to the SMH death notices, can you please contact me (off list) with the details. This will enable us to compile a "don't touch" list, to avoid duplicated effort.
