My father-in-law, Charles Cecil Cave was appointed Lieutenant in the 'Active Citizen Military Forces of the Commonwealth' on 26 Sept 1930 under the seal of the then Governor General of Australia, Baron Stonehaven. Was this the regular army of Australia, or some kind of reserve force, say a territorial army reserve? I would be grateful if anyone can give an answer? Peter Bentley
