I bought my copy of a Latin/English Translation Dictionary from a local newsagent in Melbourne some time ago now but the on-line translation sounds a much better idea. You can also try http://dictionaries.travlang.com/EnglishLatin/ The title that I have anyway is Langenscheidt Shorter Latin Dictionary Latin English English Latin by Handford & Herberg Pub by Hodder & Stoughton It has a yellow vinyl cover and is only one of a series of translation booklets all by the same publisher. Hope this info helps someone. regards Julie Meereek ----- Original Message ----- From: citysafaris test <citysafaris@one.net.au> To: <AUSTRALIA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, November 16, 2000 3:32 PM Subject: Re: LATIN DICTIONARY > Hazel it's pretty hard to translate Latin into English just using a > dictionary.
