Does anyone know of a place in Victoria, possibly in either the Shire of Whittlesea or Bright called Mortbere? I cannot locate this in any of my maps. I have a photograph of a hay harvest by the MANN family labelled at the side: Foxcroft's Gooch St. Mortbere? "The Mechanical Eye" reveals a Frank FOXCROFT at Bright, Victoria 1899-1900. But I am under the understanding that this photo is within the Shire of Whittlesea, Vic. The photo can be viewed at: http://yprl.vic.gov.au/yprl/ptpimage/Lhc52.jpg although the photographers details have not been scanned. I would like to confirm an approximate date and the location Mortbere?
