Hi Peita, That is them for sure, so thanks for that. Vannet was Barbara's middle name as she was named after her grandmother Barbara Vannet. I didn't know that there had been a boy and suspect that he was the one who died young as I had heard one child did. In the photograph there are five daughters and I then assume the eldest were either born in another area of Australia or even born in Scotland prior to emigrating. Just after WW1 my great-aunt (Barbara Duncan) married William Adam and they soon moved to Australia from the NE of Scotland. I have been able to obtain a photo which I believe to be of them and their family. I am very confident that this photo is of them, and at the bottom of the photo it reads: "Dellow-Studio. Largs S-17" I have had a look around on the web and believe that there is a Largs in NSW and one in South Australia. I also have checked a BMD database for NSW but I cannot see either William or Barbara there. I would love to be able to find out more about the family, in the photograph there are five girls.
