Hi there. I am brand new to Australian genealogy. I have found that my grandmother's brother, David Coutts, moved to Adelaide in the late 1880s. He married alma. David was born in Aberdeenshire, Scotland in 1863, I belive that David and Alma had 2 children, Donald and Norah. I would appreciate any advise as to how to reaearch this family and which mailing lists I should be using. There is a chance that Donald Coutts is still alive. Keeping of BDM records here has always been a State Government function . I have checked all the CDs and cant find this family ????.
