I would lke to know of any descendant of Frederick and Eliza DAINTY who arrived in Australia in 1855. My Grandmother was Louisa Dainty who married George H Williams. I have a lot of information about the early days of the family but would like to hear from any other descendant. regards, Lyn Nelan Sydney

Hi Neville, Thank you for that information. I forgot to mention that the Dainty family settled in Victoria and, as far as I know, the majority remained there. I wish Victorian records were as accessable as NSW. Thanks again, Regards, Lyn -----Original Message----- From: australia-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:australia-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Neville Arrowsmith Sent: Monday, 1 January 2007 11:34 PM To: australia@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [AUS] DAINTY John & Lyn Nelan wrote: > I would lke to know of any descendant of Frederick and Eliza DAINTY > who arrived in Australia in 1855. From my limited use of these records I think they are alot more accessible than NSW records as births on CD have been out ages to 1920 and on line to, I think, 1925 Deaths out of CD and on line to 1985 and you can down load copy all for $17.50. per record . Marriages only out to 1942 See http://tinyurl.com/yrs42 Bye MargM AUSTRALIA List Admin
