Dear Listers Thank you all for your replies to the above subject....it brought back so many memories for my husband being in the grocery trade and myself when I used to go to the shops for my Mum and get the necessities with the food vouchers but did not realise it was 1948 when they would have finished. I am 65 and thought that I would have been older when going to the shops with these coupons. Thank you once again....I'll bet a lot of the kids would not believe that it was just as hard getting by then as it is for some of the young ones of today. Cheers Joan
