    3. Hi Cathy, If John DOODY's wife died a widow, that narrows down your time frame for his death as it means he had died before her; unless they assumed he was dead. Having worked in the trucking industry LUMPERs as I know it, are persons who load and unload trucks, vessels etc. Possibly he worked on the (shipping) docks or in the timber industry (loading logs on and off jinkers) or something. 3. Hi Cathy, You mentioned you found a John DOODY that suits your fellow buried at KARRAKATTA cemetery. I have a baby great aunt buried there too. I purchased her burial details from KARRAKATTA cemetery for $5.00, which would have included a photo of the headstone if there had been one, I received her burial record which gave the grave details and my great grandmother's address etc., the undertaker's name, where the funeral left from plus other details and of course who arranged the burial (which was my great grandmother). Regards, Dorne. ************************************************************ DOODY JOHN 87 1908 FTLE DOODY JOHN 72 1931 CLAREMONT ************************************************************* Dorne Phefley SAUNDERS (AUSTRALIA) Dornes1@bigpond.com FREE GENEALOGY LOOKUPS (All AUSTRALIAN States + more) -Putting families together- ANTI VIRUS INSTALLED ************************************** PLEASE SNIP REPLIES ************************************** **NOTE: all work remains the property of the author Dorne Saunders and may not be used in any way, on web sites, family history CDs etc. without prior permission of the author. 3. Hi Cathy Is your DOODY related to the one I have in my Pioneer Register. He is Joseph Doody and he was born in Manchester Lancashire in 1827, the son of John Doodey & Mary Bloomer. Joseph married in Manchester a Mary Bowde. Does any of this tie in ?
