Hello, I would like to try and contact either Ronald Cameron MacLeod, or Guy Neville MacLeod in New South Wales, or relations of them. They are distant relations of mine, and I know that both were alive and in touch with common relations (from Raasay, Scotland) in 1980, but I have not been able to establish contact with them. They are decendants of John and Margaret MacLeod, emigrants from Scotland on Ontario ship in 1852, and via Malcom MacLeod (1851) and Sarah Hannah Bishop (1860) Malcom JA MacLeod (1881) and Mary A U Harper (1891) Guy Neville MacLeod (1914) I searched WhitePages on the web and found a GN MacLeod (and an RC MacLeod) in Albury, but neither number rings and when I call International Enquirees they can't find them. So, I suspect the web version of the White Pages are out of date, and either one or both of them have died. That is more likely Guy Neville MACLEOD was in Australias forces in WW2 .......... See : www.ww2roll.gov.au Go check this out and you will see he enlisted in Queensland. His next of kin listed as Kathleen MACLEOD. No record of him marrying in NSW At my local FHC library we have a few electoral rolls including the 1993 roll for Queensland .......... Guy Neville and Kathleen MACLEOD were living at 4 Oringa St Wartulla Qld 4575 ( thats near Caloundra on the Qld Sunshine Coast north from Brisbane) I have a few phone number CDs and alas neither appear in the May 1997 CD Caloundra cemetery indexes are on line but no GN or K MACLEOD I think there is a distinct possibility that this whole MACLEOD family moved to Qld after the death of Malcolm MACLEOD in 1916 ......... No death in the NSW indexes of any Sarah H There is one MACLEOD living in Wurtulla in the current phone book data base .
