Hello All I was wondering if anyone researching land about the 1887 period might have come across an Examiner by the name A Parry Long or if anyone can suggest where I might locate something on the gentleman. I have a Primary Application Package dated 1887 and the mans name appears but a search for him has only come up against a brick wall. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and hope all your researches go well in 2007. Thank you Hazel

One of the sites that came up was http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/celebrate/timeline.swf It states beside a photo of him: Registrar (1896 - 1898). Registrar Long commits suicide in his office by shooting himself in 1898. His successor was William Gordon Hayes-Williams. Maerry Xmas & 2007 Neville
