Dear Listers If I want to check some info in the national archives site my computer usually goes direct to the record search page. It wouldnt do this just now so I went manually to their main page first . Was about to click on record search when 'find of the month' caught my eye http://naa.gov.au/about_us/find-of-month/previous_finds.html Are some wonderful twidderly bits here ............... I loved the one about the 3yo who buried his fathers war service medal in the garden in the hope of growing a poppy :-)) Enjoy !
