Dear Listers There are quite a few changes to get used to No one can subscribed twice to the List under a single email address. If you wish to subscribe to the List in both Mail mode and in Digest mode you will need to use two separate email addresses - one for each mode. So suggest for a simple life just subscribe to one of these They are the same messages, just a different format The message posting mode will no longer need the "L" in the address for posting mail to the list. So address for posting/replying will in future be LISTNAME@rootsweb.com A major change is the "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" commands . These now must be in the subject header Digest format will be a little different. AOL subscribers will receive a Zip file of messages but this is down to AOL rather than Rootsweb, as I understand it. The very best bit is the changes to the way in which bounced mailings are handled by the system. Up to now as Admin I have often received deluges of bounced mail . This will no longer be the case and I will be unaware of a problem until the system disables your list account due to the bounces.
