Hello Everyone I need help please. WOuld any one know where one would go to locate military records for people born in Aberdeen Scotland. The reason for my query it this my ancestor George Jaffray was born 1835/37 in Aberdeen Scotland. From the age of 8 to 15yrs was on a farm. He served in the ranks of the Imperial Army. He then served 9 months in the Crimean War . After which he served ten moths in the East Indies Police brigade. He followede a seafaring life for 12yrs then landed in SYdney in 1864. I have been trying to find out about in these armied but no luck and do not seem to get help from anyone from my postings. I am sure someone knows where to look? Please your assitance in needed.
