Hi, I am wondering if someone would be able to guide me to where i might find a complete passenger list for each of the following, as i have tried every shipslist site and everything else i can think of The Beejapore arrived in NSW february 1853. Lots of deaths and illness on this ship but have been unable to find passenger list. The P & O ship the Beltana to NSW in 1926. Any help would be much appreciated. Barb

The 24 series of films have more info as a rule This ship departed Liverpool UK 12 Oct 1852 , arrived 6 Jan 1853 . A total of 55 died during the voyage . It was quarantined at North Head for 34 days and a further 62 died mostly of scarlet fever, measles and typhoid . The arrival of this ship caused alot of problems as aside from the diseases at the time North Head Quarantine Station could only accommodate 150 . This ship carried near on 1000 passengers .
