My gg grandfather Alfred WATERS married Kate RIVETT in Kent, England abt.1868. According to a local 1891 census Kate was originally from Australia, possibly Holbosh Town born abt.1848. I was hoping that someone may be able to tell me something about Holbosh town and it's whereabouts. I have had two people suggest that this could be Hobart Town, Tasmania but I am completely stuck. Also, I believe that another WATERS (Samuel) moved to Australia during the early 1900's. I would be interested to hear from anyone researching the WATERS name in or around the County of Kent, England. Thanks Colin Waters
