Dear Listers, Has anyone in Australia or New Zealand come across the name PERTILL? I am checking for a researcher in England who has supplied the following details: "My mother was born in the workhouse in Manchester in 1904 her mother was Ellen (Nelly) a domestic servent of Manchester, no father. My mother was taken into care and sent to Canada at the age of 9yrs. She never saw her mother again. I have checked the Victorian CD's but there are no entries under the name PERTILL. Would anyone who has CD's from other states and any New Zealand records please do a look-up.
