Dear Friends, Am attempting to help cousin Ian solve his "dead-end" once again (we do this every 10 years or so :) Could someone possibly check relatively easily to see whether there might have been a convict in Tasmania by the name of William MARSHALL, born about 1820 in either Norwich or London. In later years he added the middle name "Miles". This could be our last resort!! Regards David in Ballarat

Hi David, There are eleven William Marshall entries in the Tasmanian Convict Index CD, the index however does not show age or other details, you would need to contact the Archives Office for more detailed information.
