    1. EAST INDIES POLICE BRIGADE
    2. Hello Everyone I was wondering if any one would know where to look for enlistment records for the East Indies Police Brigade as my great great grandfather Georg Jaffray spent 10 months in the east Indies police Brigade around 1850/60 period. I am trying to find his records with out success. He was born in Aberdeen Scotlland around 1835/37. Regards Grahame James

    3. Grahame Do you mean the East India Company which was involved in India during the British Raj? The Families in British India Society has a web-site www.fibis.org which has some free online searching available. This includes information relevant to the East India Company. It may also be worth checking the British Library www.bl.uk which includes information from the India Office. Perhaps you should look at www.genuki.org.uk for other links that may assist.
