I live in the state of Victoria. To own land in British Colonies, the purchaser, if foreign, would have to be naturalised. I have checked, for Victoria, naturalizations and Wills& Probates, and found no matches. The nearest was Ignatius FEIGL who died in 1892 in Sandringham, probate number 48-847.
