Hello - can anyone help me? I am trying to find records of my ancestor Edward ROGERS. By all accounts he left Cornwall with his family on the ship "Blenheim" bound for New Plymouth, NZ, arriving in 1842 aged 8 or so. Around 1849 to 1851 he travelled to Australia with his elder brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Janet ROGERS, to work presumably on the gold fields [ they were Cornish miners by trade ]. While in Aussi Edward married......and I am trying to find out who he married, when and where. He was back in NZ in 1864, claiming to be a widow. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
