While on a short trip to Sydney I found two references to my gggrandfather in the AGCI in the State Library. They are as follows: 1. McKay James 1842 Birth Biographical Dictionary NSAG 1842 P.287 2. McKay James 1864 Professional Biographical Dictionary NSAG J9/1/2 page 296. I know the source of the first reference which is the Pioneers of Fiji Cyclopedia published in 1907 but the page reference for No2. is not in the Cyclopedia. I contacted SAG but their charge for research amounts to over $30. All I really want to know is where would I find the Professional Biographical Dictionary mentioned. I Know that James Martin McKay left Sydney in 1864 to pursue a shipbuilding career in Fiji. Is there sks who can advise me on how I can find this reference source. TIA Joy Bruce in Queensland
