Re: The AIF Project I searched Google on "The AIF Project " and then searched within the results by the surname. I have managed to get personal Details, & embarkation details from the Cache at Google. Does anyone remember what else was on the site? I found the Unit Details (embarkation details) particularly interesting as you can see who was on board with the person that you are researching. If you search on Google you will find the word Cached at the bottom of each result click on that and not on any of the other words in blue and you will get the page that you are looking for. There are 139,000 results After you have searched within the results for the surname of interest scroll down and click on <<<<<repeat the search with the omitted results included>>>>>>> Searching on MONCK I found that the three MONCK brothers shipped out on board HMAT A15 Port Sydney. The Missing In Australia index has been updated http://www.genseek.net/missing2.htm cheers Jenny Fawcett
The Convict Gangs extracts page has been updated to include the tender for the construction of a boat to convey stone and Iron Gangs to the Parramatta River in 1835. The river was being deepened, by Government contract, so it would appear that convicts were used as the labour force http://www.genseek.net/consall7.htm cheers Jenny Fawcett Genseek Genealogy

BlankHi Everyone Does any one have any idea where I would find information on JACOB MT. GARRETT who was the surgeon who performed the autopsy on JOHN RANDALL when he was murdered in Tasmania in 1817. There is no death certificate or burial record for John which seems quite strange seeing as he was a Senior Constable. I was hoping that the Surgeon kept records of some description that could be accessed. Any clues Thanks Dianna --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Barbara, Someone may have already told you this but if you type the Latin motto into Google as a query it will give you a number of options for translation. I tried both your mottos and got sensible translations for both. Best for you to judge which translations suits your data best.
