Hi Would anyone have access to Ipswich, Qld cemetery records. I am looking for a William Bryant, married to a Sarah Ellen (Helen) Jenkins. Their first child Edward beleived to be born overseas and children Thomas, Caroline, George and Maria all born Ipswich. This pair would have been married c1885-88. I cannot pick up a death in BDM's as I don't know his parents and of course there were many William Bryants. He is believed to have never shifted from the Ipswich area. Hi Lyn, Thank you for your reply. I wonder whether your fellow's birth details are on their marriage certificate? Assuming they were married in S.A. The curiosity is too much for me; I think I will have to bite the bullet and buy the marriage cert. Information I have leads me to think although the family was from ENGLAND that she may have been born in AMERICA on the way over. Hi Maureen, You do not state which State of AUSTRALIA he died in; no listing in SOUTH AUSTRALIA for marriage to 1937 or death to 1972. His death certificate would give you his marital status. Is the surname OAKLEY? I just noticed you have three diffrent spelling on your posting. Was the surname OCKLEY? I found a Robert S. Hi Cathy, You mentioned you found a John DOODY that suits your fellow buried at KARRAKATTA cemetery. I have a baby great aunt buried there too. I purchased her burial details from KARRAKATTA cemetery for $5.00, which would have included a photo of the headstone if there had been one, I received her burial record which gave the grave details and my great grandmother's address etc., the undertaker's name, where the funeral left from plus other details and of course who arranged the burial (which was my great grandmother).
